FOUNDATION DEFENDING - Defensive 1/3: Good Positioning

Prior to scheduled start time
Players should arrive and be ready to go (cleats on, stretched etc) 20 minutes prior to start time. Please start a rondo session as soon as you have enough players for 4 v1 and then when you have 7 players go to 5v2.

Activity #1: Protect the Goal 5 vs 5 (option of a+ 1) - Score on own Vertical Half
Primary focus: Defending -  Impede opponents progress (High press as a small group)
Secondary focus: Defending - Create density and be active in the DGC

Duration: 2:30 Minutes
Rotation: 16:30 Seconds
Total Time: 18 Minutes



Activity #2: Deny Penetration 7 vs 7 + 1
Primary focus: Defending -  Impede opponents progress (High press as a small group)
Secondary focus: Defending - Create density and be active in the DGC

Duration: 3 Minutes
Rotation: 30 Seconds
Total Time: 14 Minutes




Activity #3: 2 vs 2 Protect the Goal "Gutted for Gatorades"
